Lily Barnett had Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), a disease related to Muscular Dystrophy. Lily's situation exemplified the purpose of this Charity! While we continue to help many individuals over come financial roadblocks, our main focus and intent has been, from the beginning to support those children that have serious illnesses.

Helping Those in Need....

We all have important values and ideas, things we care about and want to share. Sometimes we feel our ideas can even change the world, and we want to let other people know how they can join in and make all our lives better.

Shelby County Community Charities is an action group of concerned citizens with a common purpose of operating exclusively for charitable causes, recognizing and financially assisting those in our community who need assistance because of health problems, socioeconomic difficulty’s and/or the empowerment to assist in educational or recreational development.
